About This Project

The Robber’s Roost Planned Unit Development (PUD) creates a walkable, livable, and self-sustaining community on the site of a former golf course. The PUD is comprised of three districts:

  1. The Town Center — a mixed-use district of restaurants, offices, retail establishments, and multi-family residential units
  2. The Village Shops — a lower density mixed-use experience that continues the design elements of the Town Center
  3. The Neighborhood — the single-family residential district of the PUD.

Strict design standards, continuity of materials, spatial treatments, and tasteful design relationships provide the Robber’s Roost PUD with a sense of place.

It is anticipated that Robber’s Roost will become a gateway destination for the northern Grand Strand area and an important pedestrian connector for the East Coast Greenway.
