This garden house was designed to respond to a number of different programmatic needs: Providing additional storage space, creating a play area for children, serving as a focal point to organize the backyard space, and coordinating with the vernacular lowcountry architectural style of the existant architecture on the site. This functional, flexible, and beautiful structure created an outdoor living space that enabled the family to enjoy their garden year-round.
