After growing up in Florence, South Carolina, Suzanne ventured northward for her education. She Graduated with Distinction from Duke University in 2000 with a BA in Biology and Visual Arts. Suzanne received her MLA from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. She has been the recipient of the Duke Award for Excellence in the Visual Arts, the Edward H. Benenson Prize for travel to Japan to study Japanese Gardens, and the Ian McHarg Scholarship. Suzanne has been with Environmental Concepts, LLC for over 7 years. In addition to sustainable landscape architecture & gardens, her interests include knitting, cooking, collecting landscape paintings & yard art, traveling to various festivals across the South, and blogging. She presently resides in Little River with her husband, two cats, and dachshund.
